I am working on step 2 and can't find any coda meeting nearby in my country. The nearest one would be in another country (Swiss) which is as the border country of mine but with a small community. I have tried to get an online sponsor without succes.
Therefore, I am wondering if it possible to find a sponsor in another group such as AA, NA or Alanon, what do you reckon ? Thx for your answers.
It might be worth a try. The steps are similar and a sponsor could help to reach a deeper level into the steps regardless as to the addiction we struggle with. A CODA sponsor would be best but if none are around your area. Search out for what is available to you. Good luck in your search.
Thank you for your answer. I think finding a proper sponsor is important. I'm not sure how I can get either someone from another group but I will give it a try :)
