I have tried to get traffic going over on the step work board and it just isn't that active. I was thinking we could do a step a month (or more) here focusing on codependency. I have done the steps through the Codependents' Guide to the 12 steps by Melody Beattie and taken a sponsee through it. I highly recommend it.
I'm in. Is this a different book then codependent no more? I have done steps more then I can count the AA way, and I think its helped a little in this area, but no where near enough. I just realised last night that in my fear inventory when I look at " when it made us coky it was worse " might not really be cokiness but codependent / counterdependent. The word Im trying to write is not coky, the site wont let me write it correctly for some reason... I guess there is some kind of profane protection, any way step study is an awsome idea..

Steve, I mentioned this in another thread but alibris.com has used books at very good prices. I got a copy for less than $5 and some copies were under $2. I've bought a lot of the Taoist literature I've read from them and have never had a bad experience.
I will be posting the synopsis to the Intro of "Codependent's Guide to the Twelve Steps" tonight. Nothing needed to take part - just share your ES&H.
Next week we will to the first chapter - haven't read ahead . . . but I assume it is Step 1 . I will again post a synopsis of the chapter and we can all share our ES&H over the week.
