7th tradition request for donations to support MIP
Permalink

David G has already posted informaiton  regarding this procedure

In keeping with the Seventh Tradition that states "Every   group should be self supporting", the MIP transition committee,  voted to solicit  contributions from each MIP Board  to clear  a billing from the Vendor that hosts the Miracle in Progress  Boards . This billing  indicates that there is $201.74   due in order  to bring the account up to date.

Tanin, the new board administrator, replacing John,  has set up a one time only  method of collecting donations that will go  directly to the vendor and from which we would receive an ongoing tally of donations .

We have removed the former  donation request buttons from each board and a new message will be  posted at the bottom of each board, indicating the amount that is still outstanding and asks for  donations to be sent directly to the vendor

We may still owe money to another vendor, since we have not heard from them as yet, so that for now we are simply asking that you  consider donating what you can to  keep MIP Message Boards viable. Please give what you can, remembering that even a $5.00 contribution helps tremendously.  Going forward there will be a full accounting of each donation.

John is still in hospice care and has his good days and bad days. Please pray for him.

If you have any question please PM myself, Tanin, Kenny our treasurer or David.
Thank you for your kind consideration.

Hello fellow Coda forum members,

In the wake of John F. (founder of MIP boards) passing, several folks have stepped up to keep these boards up and running. Please take time to make a small donation to keep them up.
There is a treasurer and all funds are going directly to the site expenses.

Thanks
