Boundaries- or barriers...?

THE B WORD.

The B word, boundaries has only been around for 20 or 30 years. That is for use around personal relationships.

The story I hear was to remove barriers and create healthy boundaries. It might be hard enough f2f, or in a crowd of people. But here online? Some space in the middle of nowhere.

I have found too- that urban people are very reluctant to talk with strangers. A part of the urban culture.

So- a deafening silence a lot of the time- as far as the human personality is concerned.  ????

By now I am really an XA. A combination of CODA, ACA and Alanon really... and I see the commonality- in the human commotion... [er...that should read -condition- cry ...]

Amongst those of us- who "come in for repairs".

A nice spring day here- after a windy morning. I went to a play reading this morning, a poetry reading this aft, [in which I took part] and this evening I am attending a sort of moderate dinner- with two lads and a dad- who, all three are NZ writers.

This is not the centre of civilisation here. An upland valley in a small nation- in the South Pacific... ...but things have changed dramatically here in my lifetime. Or so it seems.

With my XA in one hand, an day last remaining years- in t'other... I aim to talk and walk my way into encouraging and healthy company... smile ...

...glad to see y'all drop by! aww ...

D.G.
