Welcome to MIP, Ivone. Will you tell us more of your story please.. Where did you get your guidance & inspiration to work the Steps formally? I initially went to AA as I needed to get sober & after a couple of years I realised I needed a deeper recovery to address my codependency too. I'm fortunate to have a regular meeting in my city though we have at times been a very small fellowship, it's pretty established now & we're going from strength to strength as a result of the literature & regular meetings. If you have a copy of the Blue Book of Codependents Anonymous you'll find stories describing how CoDA was pioneered in many countries around the world. Use this literature, set up a meeting, do some public information work & you can attract the fellowship you need to help you work the steps. We do this together. In CoDA it is acceptable to co-sponsor where we walk with another & work through the program in unity. If you do your best I'm sure your Higher Power will take care of the rest. Keep an open mind. You deserve recovery! With you all the way :) Keep coming back. Good luck & God bless, lilmzx
